Member-to-Member Services

These are some examples of the assistance volunteers (fellow Village members) are willing to provide should you need them - Simply call our number at 484-546-4789, leave a message with the Service needed, the Date and location, and a call manager will be in touch via phone within 24 hrs to confirm the details and connect you with a volunteer :

• Transportation: Rides to an appointment, shopping or for errands
• In-home assistance: Receive visits, calls, grocery shopping (with or without the member), water plants, pet care, mail pick-up.
• Paperwork help: Assistance with some bills, medical forms, correspondence
• Light Home Maintenance: Take out trash, change light bulbs, hang pictures/shades. 
• Home Repairs: Help assessing and obtaining needed home repairs. 
• Electronics: Help with TV/Cable, answering machines, computers, programming thermostats, changing digital clocks.
• Outdoor help: Leaf raking, pruning, some gardening, some snow removal

Note that we need at least two or three days advance notice to be able to identify a volunteer.
